HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO MIRIAM KUIPER!!
1. HOT LUNCH: TOMORROW! February 18, the band will be holding another casserole lunch fundraiser. For just $6 you will get a plate of warm food, dessert, AND a pop or water. What a deal! This will replace the CFA lunch for the day. Cash only.
2. We are collecting final donations for the Child Life Program at Helen DeVos Children's hospital today and tomorrow at noon outside of the teachers' lounge. Donations can also be brought to the office. Please have all donations in by the end of the school day tomorrow.
3. GOLF MEETING: If you are interested in playing golf this spring, grab your lunch and meet in Room 33 during lunch break TODAY.
4. JUNIORS: Any juniors who would like to participate in junior chapel on March 3, please reach out to Mr. B VanOverloop, Ms. Prins, or Mr. Gritters.
5. CALVIN VISIT: Calvin College will be here on Tuesday, February 18, with some CCHS Alumni Athletes to talk about handling sports while in college. If you are a junior or senior who is thinking about doing a sport in college, come to the library at lunch break with your lunch.
6. ROBOTICS: This Friday afternoon and Saturday, our incredible CCHS RoboCharger team will be at the VEX Robotics State Championship at Kettering University in Flint. While the whole team will be there, teams A, B, and C are competing this year. They’ll battle it out in the arena with teams from all over the state, putting their skills and innovation to the test. 80 teams are vying for a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX, in early May.
7. BAND FESTIVAL: The band will host a band festival this Wednesday, February 19. The CCHS band will play at noon.
8. THURSDAY SCHEDULE: We will have a 30-minute Full Day schedule on Thursday, February 20 with dismissal at 12:27 PM. KCTC/CTC students will need to inform the office if they would like early release from K/CTC.
9. SHUTTLE BUS FRIDAY: There will be NO AM shuttle bus on Friday, Feb 21 due to mid-winter break at Heritage.
10. CHAPEL will be held Friday, led by Mr. Gritters. We will be on chapel bell schedule.
11. BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Open gym will be held tomorrow, Feb. 18, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at CCHS. See you there!
